SPEAKING OF DERIVING HUMOR FROM AWFUL THINGS
digg this
I just rented Zach Galifianakis: Live at the Purple Onion from Netflix. One of his opening jokes: "When you look like I do, it's hard to get a table for one at Chuck E. Cheese." See, that's a pedophilia joke. Even though pedophilia is horrible and you shouldn't make jokes about it. I just clipped out that audio and sent it to Drudge.

Just kidding! He makes me laugh out loud. (Galifianakis, I mean. Drudge just makes me chuckle indulgently.) Also, Brian Unger is in it, interviewing Zach's twin brother Seth. Unger's always good. And Galifianakis has what seems to be another nervous breakdown onstage, which I'm never sure if it's real or part of the act, or if there's even a difference, and if there's a difference whether he perceives it himself, or... I'm managing to make him sound the furthest thing from funny, aren't I? He's hilarious. Rent it RIGHT NOW.

P.S. He hates the right, but he also hates celebrities (especially himself). So it balances out. Also, go here.
